Bulgarian helmet first variant of the M36 model, named M36 A. Bulgaria adopted a helmet model based on the German style. The helmet was made in factories in the former Czechoslovakia, Germany and Bulgaria, giving rise to differences between them. The so-called model A was manufactured in Brno (Czechoslovakia),  this variant is distinguished from the later ones by the rim bent inwards and a more prominent crest.

The helmet is olive green in color without decals, with its interior and complete chinstrap. It is curious to observe the reinforcement crest on the upper part of the helmet.
