The specimen from the collection bears the model 15 infantry emblem on the front. Inside, the manufacturer's tinted mark JAPY can be seen, as well as in the detail of the flat-head rivets and the end of the crest.

Two shades of paint can be seen: khaki and olive green. Due to the distance between the dorsal end of the crest and the beginning of the neck protector, the helmet can be dated between 1933 and 1937.

The helmet retains its interior trim (damaged) and its chinstrap, both original.

Note: the shine that can be seen in the photographs is due to a layer of protective oil.
