Three variants were manufactured:

​

• green color for army use.

• variant A: ash blue color for use by civil defense and auxiliary services.

• variant B: ash blue color with reinforcing crest for use by firefighters.

The hull of the collection is painted green with its original paint, it has the post-war interior trim (1949 model). After the war, the helmets used during the war were recovered and their generally deteriorated interior trim was replaced. These helmets were used by the Hungarian Army until 1950 with the introduction of the Russian model. Keeps the original chinstrap.

 

The manufacturer's mark, size 64, and the manufacturer's own hardness mark (a Z/N in a circle) can be seen on the rear skirt.
